  9. Now, you can see the BitLocker Drive Encryption page, click Turn On BitLocker on the operating system
  10. You can set BitLocker Startup Preferences page, select Require Startup USB key This is used for non-TPM configurations, and it must be inserted each time when you proceed for starting the computer
  11. The very next step you should do is insert USB drive if it is not there
  12. Save your Startup Key page, select the USB drive location and Save it accordingly
  13. Do the required options on Save the recovery password page
  • Save the password on a USB drive
  • Save the password in a folder
  • Print the password

You can use one or more options to save the recovery password. By following the wizard, you can set up the location for saving or printing the recovered password

  1. When you go to Encrypt selected disk volume page, confirm that you use Run BitLocker system Check command and hit on continue button
  2. So if the process is ready for encryption then the Encryption in Progress is visible to you from where you can monitor the completion status of the volume encryption simply by moving the cursor on BitLocker Drive Encryption icon
